What is Investor Readiness?

Investor Readiness is a capital raising term used to describe the degree to which a business and its owners are prepared to bring on investment. This can include, but not limited to:

  • Knowing the key points of what investors want to know about the investment opportunity

  • Structuring the business so it can accept external investment

  • Understanding how to position the investment opportunity so that it has the best chance to attract investors

  • Creating investment terms that are fair to the business, attractive to new investors, and legal/compliant

  • Developing an effective investor outreach and marketing strategy.
